If you don't know, levelled lists control a lot if stuff that appears, such as the list of spells that vendors have, to loot that appears in chests. New party members won't join you. And having the ability to clear follower starting armour helps a lot in getting them to wear sensible kit. Upon looking it up I also saw Multiple Followers Framework, which seems pretty simple and doesn’t appear to have/need patches. Underwhelming Multiple Followers is great if you don't want un-immersive spells/inventory items/etc. So you can update it mid-game. You may prefer UMF (Underwhelming Multiple Followers).
